|

The brand new high-tech game, Pokemon Go, has been in and about since it was first released here in our country. A lot of Filipinos of all ages anticipated and patiently waited for the game to be released and now, it is on the palm of their hands. A lot of users however, complain of an error that they see when they try to access the game. An error that says “No GPS Signal Found,” is most likely to be seen by some who yearns to play the game. In this article, we will be guiding you on some strategies on how you can fix that issue.

Before anything else, the game connects with GPS so in some instances where you won’t have reception, the message might show because your device is not able to pick up the necessary reception to provide you with the GPS but if that is not the case, then here are a couple of fixes you can try:

Turn off the mock locations in developer mode

If by any chance you are not aware of the developer mode in your android device, then you are most certainly missing out a lot. Folks have been using this mode in order to enhance their experience and this mode might even get you out of your problem in Pokemon Go.

To have access to the developer mode, go to Settings > More and from there, select the About Device option. Scroll down a few times until you see the Build Number. Clicking the Build Number a few times will let you enable the developer mode.

From the More section of your Settings, go to the Developer Options and disable the “Allow Mock Options” setting.

Try getting back to the game and it can fix that right away. But what if I do not fix it by doing this? You can of course try the:

High Accuracy Locations Toggle

If you have a device that has an operating system of Lollipop 5.0 or higher, then this can do the trick for you.

First, access your settings which can be done in numerous ways. Scroll down to Privacy and Safety and select that category. Tap on Location and make sure that the locations option is turned on. Hit on the Location Mode and this redirects you to a page where you can see options that tell you to set the findings from GPS, wi-fi, and mobile networks. This allows you to have Higher Accuracy in having GPS as compared to the normal rate.

Do ensure that you have your Wi-Fi on even if you are using your data because some accounts reported that having their Wi-Fi turned on fixed the problem.

If none of these worked for you, then maybe your device is on the way for you to play this wonderful game. Try these fixes and who knows, maybe these are the only fixes that you need in order for you to start your journey to be a Pokemon Master.
