Nintendo is bringing its games to smartphones

| ,

With the emergence of smartphones, a lot have been hooked only in its first 5 years. Developers, manufacturers, and big companies project a staggering sales statistics over the course of 10 years. This is why a lot of companies have been planning to take on the smartphone game. As most of us grew up in the seemingly drowning urge to play Nintendo, it is now also drenching its games and ideas into the new world.

Nintendo games on Smartphones?

Nintendo CEO and President, Satoru Iwata, announced the release of five (5) mobile titles to be released in March 2017. Five may seem a little, but tell that to Mr. Iwata himself who said: “You may think it is a small number, but when we aim to make each title a hit, and because we want to thoroughly operate every one of them for a significant amount of time after their releases, this is not a small number at all and should demonstrate our serious commitment to the smart device business.”

The president is clearly making it a point that all of the ideas, all of the content of their company is golden that it can monetize fun; it can monetize experiences and time. The President also stated that Nintendo is carefully analyzing and observing the market; they would not just port games immediately without research and marketing.

Nintendo’s first game

Nintendo, just this month released a game called Miitomo, an app that lets you create an avatar to use for communicating and interacting with friends. The game is available in Android and iOS (Japan) only and people from the market are unsure as to when it will be released in the UK stores (our stores, most likely).

Nintendo die-hard fans admittedly stated that they were kind of disappointed of the first game that Nintendo splat up into the market. PC Advisors said that they were expecting games that were really off the shell for Nintendo; games like Super Mario, Pokemon, or Zelda. Despite that, the CEO announced to realease first five (5) games in just a year-less, so fans better watch out.

Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing

Thank Twitter and a mob of Nintendo fans because in Twitter, there were announcements made that fans can expect Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem as a foundation of Nintendo’s transition to smartphones. Although they just mumbled out few details as to what they are planning to execute, subsequent to the Miitomo app that they released, will for sure come better, playable apps.

Are you a Nintendo fan? Well it’s your chance to rejoice now because the company is planning to expand its range – to smartphones. Yes, they have made their first app, which is the Miitomo but fans were not really that impressed. Announcements were made and conclusions have been spoken, they will release five mobile titles by Marh 2017 and you can expect to see the first one just the end of this year. Stay tuned for more information, Nintendo gamers.
