Every January, Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is held in the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States,  this is an internationally renowned electronics and technology trade show, attracting major companies and industry professionals worldwide.


Like other electronics company Car manufacturers are also present to show their best car that consumers can buy. And below  are some of the car manufacturers present at the CES 2014 with their latest car model.

Lamborghini Veneno

The Lamborghini Veneno is a limited production sports car, first exhibited during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It is a show piece based on the Lamborghini Aventador and was built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. The prototype, Car Zero, is finished in gray and includes an Italian flag vinyl on both sides of the car. The engine is a development of the Aventador’s 6.5 L V12 and produces 750 PS (552 kW; 740 bhp). More Pictures

Only three production cars were produced, a green, white, and red one, each representing a colour of the Italian flag. Car Zero, which was the vehicle on display, will be retained by the factory for the museum. The three production cars cost €3.12 million each, and all three were sold. Veneno means ‘Venom’ in Spanish and Portuguese.

The F430 Scuderia is another light-weight, basic . It has no carpet, radio or sat nav. The Scuderia is the result of a standard F430 going on a crash diet so that it ends up 100 kg lighter. Ferrari thought that for providing you less they would charge you more, as is the case with many lightweight supercars, leading Jeremy to say that eventually someone will walk past a showroom with no car at all and get charged £1,000,000.


Pagani Huayra

The Pagani Huayra (pronounced: wai-rah) is an Italian mid-engined sports car produced by Pagani. Succeeding the company’s previous offering, the Zonda, it will cost £849,000 ($1,300,000). It is named after Huayra-tata, which means “God of the winds” in Quechua, the official language of the Inca Empire.

The Huayra was named “The Hypercar of the Year 2012” by Top Gear magazine and received a very positive review when tested by Richard Hammond on Top Gear. The Huayra is currently the fastest road-legal and streetworthy car ever to go round the Top Gear Test Track, setting a time of 1:13.8 on street legal, Zonda R-derived Trofeo tyres, beating the previous record of 1:15.1 set by the Ariel Atom V8 in January 2011.


Mercedes SL550

The Mercedes-Benz SL is a grand tourer manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sport Leicht, or Sport Lightweight — and was first applied to the 300SL ‘Gullwing’ named also after its gullwing or upward-opening doors.


The term SL-Class refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning six design generations. More

The Tesla Model S is a full-sized electric five-door hatchback produced by Tesla Motors. First shown to the public at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a prototype, retail deliveries started in the United States in June 2012. The Model S was released in Europe in early August 2013, and the first deliveries took place in Norway, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Ford Mustang 2015, the vehicle was unveiled on December 5, 2013, in Dearborn, Michigan; New York, New York; Los Angeles, California; Barcelona, Spain, Shanghai, China; and Sydney, Australia.

Changes include widened body by 1.5 inches, 1.4 inches lower body, trapezoidal grille, and a 2.75-inch lower decklid, as well as new colors. The passenger volume is increased to 84.5 cubic feet, and there are three engines: 2.3 L 300+ hp EcoBoost four-cylinder, 3.7 L 305 hp V6, or 5.0 L 440+ hp Coyote V8, with either a Getrag six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The 2015 Mustang will feature a new independent rear suspension (IRS) system, developed specifically for the new model. The 2015 model year Mustang is scheduled to be in showrooms by November 2014.

The Infiniti Q50 is a compact executive sedan that replaced the Infiniti G sedan, manufactured by Nissan’s Infiniti luxury brand. The new model debuted at the 2013 North American International Auto Show and went on sale in North America in the third quarter 2013 and in Europe in fourth quarter 2013. A hybrid version is available.


Corvette Stingray

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the all-new seventh generation version of the iconic American sports car, built on a new lightweight aluminum frame and powered by a new 455-horsepower 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine. An all-new seven-speed manual transmission features Active Rev Match technology and the Drive Mode Selector allows the driver to adjust up to 12 vehicle function to suite the driver’s preferences. The carbon fiber hood is standard on both coupe and convertible versions, and the removable roof panel on the coupe is also carbon fiber. More Pictures
